Julian Boland is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter based in Dingle, County Kerry. Blending contemporary folk with a strong emphasis on lyrical storytelling, his music explores personal experiences, relationships and life’s turning points. Known for his evocative writing style, Boland crafts songs that feel intimate yet universal, weaving vivid narratives with melodic sensitivity.
Working from his home studio, he records and produces his own material, capturing an authentic and organic sound that reflects his roots in folk tradition while embracing modern textures. His releases on Spotify, including the recent single “Back to the Start”, showcase his ability to pair heartfelt lyricism with memorable hooks.
In 2025 Boland completed a mini-tour of Ireland, performing in Galway, Dublin and Dingle, and he is currently developing his debut EP, due for release later this year.
